Last month (October 2019) Kitchener-Waterloo Association of Realtors’ release reported that “strong home sales continued in face of low inventory”. Home prices continuing to rise as inventory levels still well below historical averages.
This is highly competitive real estate market, and the importance of working with a realtor at a seller’s market is very obvious. Before you start talking to a realtor, we advise you to meet with a mortgage professional. If you are an investor, especially if you are new to real estate investment business, go and talk to a tax specialist.
When a right property is found, do not wait. Do not linger. Do not expect that you are the only buyer for that property.
You can also be not the only one who will bring an offer to buy that property. We are in a seller’s market and we have to be ready to compete. It does not mean though that we have to pay sellers whatever price they want. Talk to your realtor.
